 When planning travel you should always consider travel insurance to protect against the unexpected. For full coverage most companies require purchase at time of first deposit.

People are unaware that MOST insurance plans do not cover you when you are out of the country. Travel insurance is a suite of coverages and there are lots of coverage options.

Entry requirements 

It is important to know from the beginning what the entry requirements are for ALL the destination you are visiting. Not having the proper documents can derail your trip completely.  Requirements can change without notice so always  check before every trip

When traveling internationally, a valid passport is required.  The passport must have 6months validity after the return date of your trip.  

Some countries require that a U. S. Citizen have a Visa prior to visiting their country.  A Visa is an official permission that temporarily authorizes a U.S. Citizen to stay in a foreign country.   

The visa process can be easy or complicated depending on the destination and not all destinations require a Visa.  Visas can be obtained directly from their individual consulate offices if time allows, Some require your passport be sent to them.
